What if plants could walk?

What if plants could walk?

Would they talk?

And if they could ,Would they mock ?

Us Humans for autocracy , democracy,

HIPOCRACY!?

Would they be able to run?

And if they could, would they compete with us?

Would they fight us? OR Would they help us?

If we slay one, would they rebel?

Some terrorists we could not expel !

Would hunters find a new job?

Cause killing rare species of plants

Would now be a thing !

And farmers might sob ,

unable to fill their stomachs

They’d probably organize a mob,

And start to rob,

and poor old Bob !

Would he end up like a blob ?

Would plants show us attitude?

And give us food only if we be good?

And wait! Would there be any wood?

Or, have I misunderstood!?

Having the power to feed us and give us oxygen,

Would they dominate us and eventually rule us?

And its fun to think about

A war we could never win,

The plants would never end up in the bin,

Because killing them would be a sin!

Oh! I worry about my kin,

what could have been!?

Another species with the audacity,

To challenge humanity,

Some would consider it insanity,

Others might laugh and utter profanity,

Oh Dear, its nothing but our vanity!

If this were to continue,

ultimately we would all perish,

An idea I do not cherish!

We would get another excuse

To divide this world

Everything would be topsy-turvy

And in the end

we ‘d probably end up

Asking for their mercy.

Oh thank god plants can’t walk!

But we really shouldn’t mock

Coz without them

We wouldn’t exist,

Life wouldn’t persist,

Everything would turn to mist!
